Entering his second season with the Tornados is assistant coach Brent Youngblood. Coach Youngblood is a graduate of Katy High School in Katy, TX. At Katy, Youngblood was a point guard for a team that finished 2nd in District 19-5A and qualified for a state playoff spot. While in Katy, Youngblood worked at the James E. Taylor High School basketball camps for 5 years.
Upon graduation, Coach Youngblood attended the University of Texas in Austin and received a double major BA in History and Government. While at Texas Youngblood stayed connected to basketball by working at the Rick Barnes Texas Basketball Camps. After leaving Austin, Youngblood attended law school at South Texas Law School in Houston and received his J.D. in 2007 and is a licensed Texas attorney.
