AUSTIN, Texas -- Three 10th-inning runs by Houston Baptist University allowed the Huskies (2-5) to outlast the Concordia University Texas baseball team, 7-4, on Friday night at Nelson Field.  Junior catcher Russell Johns paced Concordia (6-7) with a 2-for-4 performance with two runs batted in.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Russell Jablonowski led the Concordia University Texas track and field team at its inaugural meet on Saturday at the University of the Incarnate Word Cardinal Track & Field Invitational held at UIW Tom Benson Stadium.  Jablonowski won the 110 meter hurdles and finished second in the triple jump.

CLINTON, Miss. -- The Concordia University Texas baseball team lost its fourth straight game as Mississippi College completed a three-game sweep of the Tornados (4-6) by scoring on a wild pitch in the bottom of the ninth inning during the nightcap of a doubleheader on Saturday.  The Choctaws (8-1) won both games of Saturday's doubleheader, 14-0 and 7-6.
