ABILENE, Texas -- Three second place finishes highlighted the Concordia University Texas men's track and field team's first ever trip to the American Southwest Conference meet.

HOUSTON, Texas -- The Concordia University Texas men's track and field team competed in the Victor Lopez Classic, hosted by Rice University, at the Rice Track Stadium on Saturday.  The Tornados sent only a few competitors due to numerous injuries.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- The Concordia University Texas men's and women's track and field teams finished fifth and ninth, respectively, at the Trinity University Open on Saturday.  Russell Jablonowski finished second in both the triple jump and 110 meter hurdles to lead the teams.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Russell Jablonowski led the Concordia University Texas track and field team at its inaugural meet on Saturday at the University of the Incarnate Word Cardinal Track & Field Invitational held at UIW Tom Benson Stadium.  Jablonowski won the 110 meter hurdles and finished second in the triple jump.

RICHARDSON, TX – Celebrated annually on April 6 since 1987, National STUDENT-Athlete Day is America’s day to celebrate outstanding student-athletes who have achieved excellence in academics and athletics while having made significant contributions to the community. AUSTIN, Texas—On Feb. 24, 2009, Concordia University Texas Athletic Director, Dan Huntley, announced the addition of men’s and women’s track and field to the University’s Athletic Program. Concordia track and field will begin competing in the 2009 - 2010 academic year. Current sport sponsorships include men’s and women’s cross country, basketball, golf, soccer and baseball, as well as women’s softball and volleyball.
