Concordia Women's Golf Competes at Schreiner Shootout

Concordia University Texas women's golf team competed in the Schreiner University Spring Shootout this past weekend, at the Comanche Trace Golf Club in Kerrville, TX. Caroline Cole finished with a two round total of 210 and finished 28th, while freshman Christina Morris shot a two round total of 208 and finished one spot ahead in 27th place.

Concordia women's golf finish their fall season strong

The Concordia University Texas women's golf team also finished up their fall season Tuesday at The Golf Club of Seguin.

All three of the Tornados improved their performances from day one. Junior Caroline Cole led the way with rounds of (96-91 187) good for 24th place. Freshman Sydney Johnson, finished in 31st with rounds of (99-95 194), Freshman Christina Morris shot rounds of (103-96 199).

The Concordia University men's golf team stands in 8th place after posting rounds of 310 and 311 Monday at the John Bohmann Invitational held at Max Starcke Park Golf Course in Seguin. The women's golf team is led by Caroline Cole who is currently tied for 27th.

The final rounds will begin on Tuesday at 8:00 am.

Concordia golf starts strong

Kerrville, Texas- Scott Schreiner Golf Course-- The Concordia University Texas men's golf team posted a fall season low of 311, and currently sits in 6th place after day one of the Schreiner University Fall Invitational. The Tornados were led by freshman Drew Boettcher who shot a 74 currently tied for 14th individually, senior Kevin Hoppman finished with a 78, followed by senior Matt Aubry 79, freshman Jordan Creasy 80, and jumior Kyle Crawford 81. Teddy Thomas playing as an individual medalist shot 78.

On the women's side Caroline Cole shot a collegiate best 89, followed by Sydney Johnson who also shot a season best 91, while Christina Morris shot 117.

Both teams will be looking to improve during Tuesday's final round.
