AUSTIN, Texas—The Concordia women’s tennis team lost their home opener to the University of South Dakota by a 9-0 count, falling to 0-2 on the season.
After USD swept the doubles points and took a 3-0 lead, Concordia attempted to answer in singles competition. The Tornados proceeded to then drop all six singles points to incur a 9-0 loss. CUA was paced by Katy Osborn who won a team high five games on the afternoon in a 6-2, 6-3 defeat.
Up next, The Tornados travel to Mary-Hardin Baylor Friday, March 10 in Belton, Texas.
