Concordia Golf finished strong at the Schreiner Fall Classic

Kerrville, TX -The Concordia Men's Golf team shot a season best 302 to finish 6th in the Schreiner Fall Classic. UT-Tyler, ranked #6 in the nation won the tournament with a final round 284 for a two day total of 566, UT-Brownsville finished second two shots back. Schreiner University was third at 588, LeTourneau 597, Hardin Simmons 605, CTX 613, TAMIU 651.

Drew Boettcher led the Tornado's finishing tied for 16th with a two day total of 149. Kevin Hoppman fired a personal best 74 in the final round to go along with his first round 78 to finish 27th. Teddy Thomas playing as an individual medalist shot 78-77, Matt Aubry 79-77, Jordan Creasy and Kyle Crawford both ended up tied for 32nd with a 157 two day total.

For the Lady Tornado's, Caroline Cole and Sydney Johnson both finished tied for 24th with two round totals of 183, while Christina Morris dropped 11 shots from her first day score to end up 31st.

Both the men and women will compete at the postponed John Bonham Invitational October 26-28 in Seguin Tx. to finish their fall season.
