SEGUIN Tx.- The Concordia University men's golf team stands in 8th place after posting rounds of 310 and 311 Monday at the John Bohmann Invitational held at Max Starcke Park Golf Course in Seguin.

Drew Boettcher, was low individual for the Tornado's after rounds of 75-74, he currently sits tied for 8th at 149. Senior, Kevin Hoppman T28 finished with a two round total of 155 after rounds of 76-79, followed by Teddy Thomas (79-79 158), Freshman Jordan Creasy (80-81 161) and Matt Aubry (91-79 170), Kyle Crawford playing as an individual medalist (91-81 172).

Oklahoma Baptist University leads the field after the first day (296-286 582). Southwestern University is 13 shots back at 595, followed by TLU (304-292 596), 4th UT-Brownsville (308-293 601), 5th UMHB (303-306 609), 6th McMurry University (305-307 612), 7th Trinity University (311-302 613), 8th Concordia Texas (310-311 621), 9th UT-Dallas B (321-310 631), 10th Schreiner University (322-313 635), Hardin Simmons (323-317 640), TLU JV (322-323 645), TAMIU (350-339 689). 

The Concordia University Texas women played the first round of the TLU Lady Bulldog Fall Classic at The Golf Club of Seguin.

Caroline Cole led the way after a first round 96, currently tied for 27th place. Sydney Johnson(32) finished with a 99, and Christina Morris(34) with a 103. 

The final rounds of the 54 hole event will begin at 8:00am Tuesday.
