KERRVILLE, Texas -- Junior #Michael Goldwater# carded a five-over par 145 during the two-day Schreiner Fall Classic to finish tied for fifth place and lead the Concordia University Texas men's golf team.

Goldwater shot a 74 on the final day of competition in windy conditions.

As a team, the Tornados finished in third place.  CTX finished 16 shots off the pace, behind the University of Texas-Tyler, who took home the team title.  Texas-Tyler's Joey Rippel won the individual crown after carding a one-under 139.

Freshmen #Justin Muraida# and #Eddie Diaz de Leon# tied for 15th place after each turned in a 10-over par 150 in 36 holes.

Sophomore #J.D. Heathcoat# finished tied for 18th place after posting a 151.

Freshman #C.J. Caliendo# turned in a 156 to finish tied for 27th place in the final Fall tournament of the season.

CTX will return to action this Spring in the final half of its season.
