STEPHENVILLE, Texas -- Seven personal bests were set by the Concordia University Texas men's track and field team on Thursday at the Tarleton State University Track & Field Invitational. The Tornados also tied a school record in the 4X400 relay.
#Quincy Braxton#, #Russell Jablonowski#, #Michael McDowell# and #Brent Reynolds# combined to tie a Concordia Texas record in the 4X400 relay as the team crossed the finish line in 3:28.45.
Braxton was the top finisher on the day for the Tornados after placing third in the 200 meter finals. He set a personal best by finishing the race in 22.01 seconds.
Reynolds recorded two personal bests after leaping out to a sixth place finish in the triple jump (12.92 meters). He also recorded a fifth place finish in the high jump after passing over the bar at 1.93 meters.
Jablonowski placed seventh in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 15.74 seconds, a personal best.
#Charles Slater# and #Craig Warren# each turned in personal bests on the day in the 800 and 200, respectively.
The Tornados will return to action on March 26 at the Rice University Relays in Houston.
