ROUND ONE RESULTS: TEAM | INDIVIDUAL

CONCAN, Texas -- Freshman #Justin Muraida# is tied for fourth and only two strokes off the lead after carding a three-over par 75 during the first round of the ConCan Intercollegiate Classic at The Club at ConCan.  As a team, the Tornados are sitting in third place, nine strokes behind the leading team, Mary Hardin-Baylor.

Concordia posted the tournament's best scores on the par three's during the day.  As a team, the Tornados pared 47 holes.  Freshman #Eddie Diaz de Leon# recorded the round's only eagle.  The feat came on the par-4 416-yard No. 12 hole.

Muraida shot a team-best 37 on the front nine holes.  He finished his round by carding a 38 on the back nine.  Junior #Michael Goldwater# is one shot outside of the top 10 after shooting a 78 on the day. 

Concordia is four strokes behind second place Trinity and two strokes ahead of fourth place McMurry heading into the final day of competition on Tuesday.
