COMBO RESULTS | INDIVIDUAL RESULTS
KERRVILLE, Texas -- Freshman #Eddie Diaz de Leon# finished tied for 10th and led the Concordia University Texas men's golf team to a sixth place finish at the Schreiner Spring Shootout at The Club at Comanche Trail on Tuesday.
Diaz de Leon carded a 78 during the final 18 holes to finish with a 159 over the two-day event.
#Michael Goldwater# improved by four strokes on Tuesday to shoot a combined 162 in 36 holes and finished in a tie for 18th place.
#C.J. Caliendo# and #Justin Muraida# each tied for 30th place after both players turned in a 166 for 36 holes.
#J.D. Heathcoat# rounded out the Tornados at the event, finishing in 41st place after shooting a 173, including a 79 on the final 18 holes. Heathcoat improved 15 strokes from Monday to Tuesday.
Concordia finished only one stroke behind Texas-Dallas for fifth place. CTX carded a 651 as a team in 36 holes. Texas-Tyler took home the team title with a 617. Texas-Tyler's Brandon Ellis capped off an outstanding tournament for the Patriots, winning the individual crown after carding a 152 overall.
