Following 36 holes of golf, the Concordia University Texas men's golf team has found itself in seventh place of a 13-team field at the University of Texas-Dallas Spring Classic at Sherrill Golf Course on Monday.

The Tornados posted the fourth lowest 36 holes of the NCAA Division III schools in attendance.  The field also features NCAA Division I players and junior college teams.

#Eddie Diaz de Leon#, #Michael Goldwater# and #C.J. Caliendo# are all tied for 31st place to pace the Tornados after shooting 152 over two rounds of competition.  Diaz de Leon's day was steady after carding a 77 in the first 18 holes and improving two strokes to shoot 75 to finish out the day.  Goldwater fired a one-over par 73 in the first 18, but then fell back after carding a 79 in the final 18 holes.  Caliendo's rounds were the opposite of Goldwater's.  Caliendo shot 79 in the first round and rebounded to tie Goldwater's round with a 73 to end the day.
