FINAL RESULTS
ABILENE, Texas -- Three second place finishes highlighted the Concordia University Texas men's track and field team's first ever trip to the American Southwest Conference meet.
#Brent Reynolds# set a Concordia record by placing second in the high jump with a leap of 1.95 meters. #Russell Jablonowski# also set a school record with a time of 15.30 seconds en route to a second place finish in the 110 meter hurdles. #Quincy Braxton# rounded out the Tornados second place finishers after placing as the runner-up in the 400 meter dash with a time of 50.01 seconds.
#Warren Sanders# placed fourth in the 1,500 meter run with a time of 4:27.31 and seventh in the 5,000 meter run.
The Tornados' 4x400 meter relay team of Braxton, Reynolds, #Michael McDowell# and Jablonowski finished fourth with a time of 3:34.24.
McMurry, the nation's top-ranked team, cruised to the conference team title by almost tripling its next closest competitor.
