The entrance to Concordia University Texas
On May 13, 2005, the Concordia University Texas Board of Regents took a visionary step of faith in deciding to relocate the University’s main campus. In March 2007, Concordia purchased the Austin Hill Country Reserve as the new University site. Concordia embarked on a massive relocation plan during the summer of 2008 and moved the entire campus from Downtown Austin to the new picturesque site in Northwest Austin off of 620 and 2222. This is a unique and exciting time in Concordia’s history and the new campus consists of six buildings totaling 195,000 square feet and 389 acres, with 250 acres of that total devoted to a nature preserve, now named the Concordia Preserve. This is the perfect new home for Concordia!

This new campus has allowed Concordia to expand and improve the services offered to students. With room to grow and improved facilities, Concordia has been able to better

prepare students for success and provide more opportunities to develop Christian leaders. An expansion of services has also allowed the University to reach out to the community and the church, enhancing the University’s

external relationships and brand recognition. All of this together has created a new, bolder future for Concordia, and has strengthened the foundation on which it is built.

Concordia Athletic Training
The athletic training facility at Concordia University Texas is located in the Field House. It not only meets the needs of our 200 student-athletes, but is also available to students enrolled in the Concordia Athletic Training Program. The facility includes areas for treatment, taping, rehabilitation and an enclosed wet-room. Built in 2008 and just shy of 1,000 square feet, the athletic training room features three adjustable tables, three taping tables, a multitude of rehabilitation equipment and extra space for additional treatment tables if needed. Modalities available to student-athletes include e-stim, ultrasound, gameready, heat and ice treatments, as well as hot and cold whirlpools. The facility is open throughout the day to our student-athletes for treatment and rehabilitation in an effort to keep them healthy and participating in their chosen sports.

The Future of Concordia University Texas Baseball
Currently, the University is focusing on raising the funds to finish the development of the Concordia Baseball Field. Located on one of the most picturesque sites in Central Texas, the future field will be a site for the University and the local community to treasure for many years to come. Located on one of the highest points in Northwest Austin, Tornado baseball fans will have an amazing view of the Concordia Preserve from any seat in the house.
