SEGUIN, Texas – The Trinity University women and the Centre University men claimed NCAA Division III South/Southeast Region Championships Saturday at Texas Lutheran University.
At the Texas Lutheran Cross Country Course on the TLU campus in Seguin, TX, the Trinity women edged Emory University by eight points, 43 to 55. Trinity put all five runners in the Top 20 and had three runners in the Top 10.
The Concordia University Texas women finished 23rd while the men finished 19th in the regional race.

Warren Sanders led the Women and Men's team respectively. Concordia Freshman
Joli Bula (Cedar Park, Texas/Cedar Park HS) was the top finisher for the Tornados. Bula crossed the line in 26:10 placing 88th overall. Concordia Freshman
Warren Sanders (Giddings/Giddings HS) led the Men placing 127th overall in a season best time of 29:49.
The future looks bright for Concordia Cross Country as the teams are still very young and continue to develop.
