SEGUIN, Texas -- The Concordia University Texas women's soccer team has posted back-to-back wins after knocking off Texas Lutheran University 3-2 Saturday afternoon.

Senior forward #Lya Morfitt# scored the first goal for CTX (4-4-3, 3-4-1 ASC) off a corner kick.  After a scramble for possession, Morfitt was able to gain control of the ball and kick it into the back of the net.

Sophomore midfielder #Rose Cutrer# scored the second goal for the Tornados on a shot from 35 yards out that carried over the hands of the goalkeeper.

CTX's game-winning goal came off the foot of sophomore midfielder #Hilary Wagner#.

It's the first time this season the Tornados have posted back-to-back wins.

CTX will return to the field on Thursday, Oct. 15 in a 1 p.m. game with LeTourneau University at Town & Country Optimist Soccer Field.
