ASC RELEASE

RICHARDSON, Texas -- Concordia University Texas sophomore cross country runner #Warren Sanders# has earned second team all-conference honors following the American Southwest Conference championship meet on Oct. 31.

Sanders led the Tornados in the 8K meet by finishing 14th overall, with a time of 29:41.78.

"It's a great honor for Warren," said CTX head cross country coach Alex Aldaco.  "He led our team all season.  Finishing as high as he did this weekend shows the amount of hard work and dedication he put into this season."

Sanders was the top finisher for Concordia in all five meets the Tornados competed in during the 2009 fall season.
