MEN'S INDIVIDUAL RESULTS
SAN MARCOS, Texas -- Sophomore #Warren Sanders# led the Concordia Texas cross country team in the Texas State Invitational at Gary Job Corps on Saturday.
Sanders, who finished as the top NCAA Division III runner in the event, finished in 30th place overall after running the five-mile course in 29:42.2.
The University of Texas dominated the team portion of the event as the top four finishers represented the Longhorns squad.
Texas' CJ Jessett won the individual crown after finishing the course in 26:25.6.
Sophomore #Mark Giardinelli# also participated for the Tornados, finishing at the 42:18.1 mark.
The Tornados will return to competition on Sept. 26 at the NCAA Division III State Championship in Seguin.
