RICHARDSON, Texas – Two Concordia University Texas softball players represented the program on the All-American Southwest Conference teams, which were released Monday.

Brooke Jones and freshman infielder
Morgan Loredo were listed as honorable mention.
Jones hit .284 with seven doubles and six RBIs. The Rowlett native led the Tornados with eight multiple-hit contests, including a pair of three-hit games. She batted .315 in conference action. In the circle, Jones recorded a 1-4 record with a 9.22 ERA in 13.2 innings of work.
Loredo also hit .284 and added two doubles and 11 RBIs. She scored 15 runs and stole a base, while posting five multi-hit games, including a 4-for-4 performance against Ozarks in the season opener on Feb. 13. In conference play, Loredo hit .289 with one double and 10 RBIs.
Concordia Texas finished the 2015 season with an 8-29 overall record under second-year head coach
Rachel Reekstin. The squad's 8-21 mark in conference play was good for eighth in the league.
