Concordia Texas Athletics

• Eligibility: Girls below eighth grade are eligible for camp.

About the youth day camp: The Concordia University Texas girls basketball youth day camp will focus on developing basic fundamentals of the game. Ball-handling, form shooting, passing and communication are among the many skills that campers will have the opportunity to learn.

ELITE CAMP

• Dates: June 25-July 28, 2012
  (1 p.m. - 4 p.m.)
• Cost: $175 per camper
• Eligibility: Girls entering grades 8-12 only

About the elite camp: The Concordia coaching staff and players will provide a thorough training experience that focuses on the individual skills and habits that result in smart and efficient basketball. Receive instruction from the "CTX Family" that has a record of 37-15 in the last two years and produced 10 All-ASC players as well as winning the American Southwest Conference Title in 2012 and advancing to the NCAA Tournament. Individuals will learn how to create their own shot, finish at the rim, shoot the ball consistently, and become a great individual and team defender. There will also be work in 2 on 2, 3 on 3 and 5 on 5 breakdowns to improve camper's team skills. Elite campers will also benefit from learning how to train productively and lead authentically through special sessions led by the CTX coaching staff.
