Alex Price has been named the Taco Bell Student-Athlete of the Week after her season-opening performance for the Concordia University Texas women's soccer team on Monday, Sept. 2.

Price, a junior from Corpus Christi, Texas, scored two goals to help the Tornados to a 2-0 win over former American Southwest Conference foe Texas Lutheran.

The two-goal performance was the second of Price's career. Last year, she found the back of the net twice in Concordia Texas' 4-1 victory over the Bulldogs.
