Concordia University Texas is proud to select and honor outstanding student-athlete and team achievements, as well as those who have served the University as a coach, in meritorious service or as a contributor to the development of the athletics program and served as ambassadors to the mission of Concordia University Texas, which is to "Develop Christian Leaders."Â This Hall of Fame was established in 2009.
Categories for nomination:
Concordia University Texas Tornados Hall of Fame Award categories shall be: Student-Athlete; Team; Coach; Meritorious Service - University or Athletic Department Administrator, Athletic Department Staff; and Contributor.

STUDENT-ATHLETES
- Must have lettered a minimum of two years at Concordia University Texas
- Must have earned a degree from an Concordia University Texas.
- Must have completed his/her intercollegiate participation a minimum of five (5) years prior to nomination.
- Must have significantly contributed to and/or demonstrated athletic excellence during his/her career at Concordia University Texas.
- Selection shall be based primarily on athletic achievement, but character, leadership, academic degree earned, integrity, and contributions to the team and University will also be considered.
TEAM
- Exemplary season in terms of win/loss record and team statistics.
- Must have competed at least five (5) years before nomination.
- Team brought honor, leadership, character, and courage to Concordia University Texas.
COACH
- Must have been a coach for a minimum of ten (10) years at Concordia University Texas.
- Must have demonstrated an unusually high degree of success, relative to the sport coached.
- Shall have demonstrated an ability to enhance the athletic experience of the student-athlete, while serving as a positive role model through exemplary leadership and character.
CONTRIBUTOR
- Must have participated in the development of and advancement of the Athletic Department.
- Must have demonstrated an ability to enhance the athletic experience of the student-athlete.
Selections will be made by the Hall of Fame Committee. The Concordia University Texas Hall of Fame Committee will be comprised of former CTX student-athletes representing different decades, current CTX administrator, faculty and coaches (representing one male and one female sport) as designated by the Athletic Director as well as the Faculty Athletic Representative, Sports Information Director and Alumni Director. The committee will be chaired by the Athletic Director who will vote only when a tie-breaking vote is necessary.
