Concordia University Texas women's soccer freshman goalkeeper Megan Frontiera has been named the Taco Bell Student-Athlete of the Week.

Frontiera guided the Tornados to a 0-1-1 record last week. Concordia Texas lost to Dallas last Saturday, 2-1, but rebounded the following day to register a scoreless draw at Texas Wesleyan.

In the tie with the Lady Rams, Frontiera kept an explosive offense from scoring. The Georgetown, Texas, native racked up eight saves and netted her second shutout of the season. Prior to Sunday's match, Texas Wesleyan was averaging six goals per game.
