Concordia University Texas men's cross country runner Riley Zoch has been selected as the Taco Bell Athlete of the Week.

The sophomore also was named the American Southwest Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week on Monday for the second time this season.

Zoch helped the Tornados to a fourth-place finish at last Friday's UTSA Ricardo Romo Classic. The Giddings, Texas, native finished 16th among non-Division I runners with a personal-best 5,000 meter time of 17:55.0. It marked the second consecutive race that Zoch had led Concordia Texas across the finish line.
