Christian Fredrickson has been named the Taco Bell Athlete of the Week, it was announced on Tuesday morning.

The junior midfielder scored two goals and led the Concordia University Texas men's soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Howard Payne last Friday. The win was the first for the Tornados in the 2013 season.

Fredrickson, a local native out of Cedar Park High School, has scored five goals in his career and helped out on five others.
