Concordia Texas Athletics

Brad Walker earns the second Athlete of the Week award in 2010 after leading the Tornados men's basketball team to a 2-0 record last week.  CTX posted wins over No. 10 Mississippi College and Louisiana College at Concordia Fieldhouse.  Walker recorded career highs versus LC in points (30), blocked shots (5), and steals (5).  He tied his career high in free throws made (10) and also set the CTX record for most points in a game at Concordia Fieldhouse.  Against the Choctaws, Walker poured in 22 points and grabbed six boards.  He was also named the American Southwest Conference West Division Player of the Week for the first time this season.
