Concordia Texas Athletics

Concordia University Texas freshman Hanna Contreras has been named Taco Bell Athlete of the Week, it was announced on Tuesday.

Contreras posted another huge week to lead the Concordia Texas softball team to a three-game conference sweep of Sul Ross State last weekend. The Austin, Texas, product hit .667 with a double, two homers and eight RBIs. She also led the Tornados with six runs scored. Contreras slugged 1.250 and reached base at a .714 clip.
