Borunda went 2-2 last week, falling 6-2 in doubles and 6-3, 6-2 in singles against UTRGV. He bounced back for an 8-0 victory at doubles and a 6-1, 6-0 triumph in singles against Howard Payne. Jack Proctor served as Borunda's doubles partner in both contests.
