Concordia Texas Athletics

Sammy made her first collegiate start in Tuesday's sweep over Schreiner University and collected a double-double dishing out 21 assists and recording 11 digs in the match. The freshman led Concordia to a 2-2 record on the week including ASC conference wins over East Texas Baptist and Schreiner.

In the win against ETBU Ladewig recorded a season high 28 assists and recorded 12 digs. For the week Sammy averaged 22 set assists and nine digs per match. 

Sammy is a biology major from Houston, Texas where she attended Jersey Village High School. 

Concordia will look to pick up two conference wins this week when they travel to Texas Lutheran on Tuesday and host Hardin-Simmons on Friday.
