White amassed 40 kills this weekend in leading the Tornado volleyball team to a 2-1 weekend with ASC victories over Mississippi College and Mary-Hardin Baylor. Kalynn posted a match-high kill total in each game, including 16 against UMHB. The junior recorded 22 digs and six blocks bringing Concordia's record to (8-12, 6-8 ASC).

The Marion, Texas native currently leads the Tornados with 167 kills, averaging 2.46 per set. White has also tallied 134 digs, good for third on the team. 

Kalynn is the daughter of David White and Jeanette Batey. She has one sister Madison (9), and two brothers Kyle (20) and Aidan (3). Kaylynn is a business major at CTX.

The Tornados will play three important American Southwest Conference games this week as the team looks to make a rise through the West Division. On the 19th CTX will play at Howard Payne and then host McMurry on Friday the 22nd. Both contests are slated for a 6:00 p.m. start. Saturday the 23rd will be senior day for Concordia as it hosts Sul Ross State in a match starting at 2:00 p.m.
