Franklin scored twice in a 14 minute time-span Saturday, as the freshman helped CTX capture its ninth win of the season. Taylor attempted six shots in a 6-0 win over the University of the Ozarks and currently stands third on the team in total points.

The Burleson, Texas native has scored three game-winning goals on the year and is third on the team in total points with 14.

Franklin is the daughter of Paul and Kim Franklin and is a nursing major at Concordia. "Bug" also has an older sister, Jordan (22) and was a two-time team MVP for her soccer team at Burleson High School.

Concordia will take what could be its most important roadtrip in school history this week, as the Tornados can guarantee itself a spot in the six-team ASC Conference Tournament with two wins. CTX will face Mississippi (10-3-1, 6-3-0 ASC) on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. and then take on Louisiana (0-14-1, 0-7-1 ASC) at 3:00 p.m. Saturday.

With two wins Concordia can finish as high as fourth, but if the Tornados spilt they need Mary Hardin-Baylor and East Texas Baptist to lose to garner a sixth-place finish in the conference.
