Waganaar took home a ninth place individual finish at the 2010 American Southwest Conference Championships on Saturday to lead the Tornados to a fifth place finish in the 13 team field. With the top 10 finish Megan captured ASC First Team All-Conference honors.

The Missouri City, Texas native also shattered the school 6K record by 22 seconds when she crossed the line in 24:38.0. The freshman has ran the fastest time for Concordia in each of its five meets this season.

Megan is the daughter of Jane and Lucas Waganaar and is a business major at CTX.

Waganaar will now travel with teammate and fellow freshman Caitlin Rowlette to Nashville, Tennessee November 13th, to compete in the NCAA Division III South/Southeast Region Championships.
