Steinbach helped the CTX women collect its first-ever American Southwest Conference Tournament appearance with her stellar play in goal throughout the season. The freshman recorded her 10th shutout of the year Friday, as the Tornados lost in a penalty kick decision to Texas-Dallas in first-round tournament action.

The Santa Fe, Texas native has made 74 saves this year while allowing just 19 goals. Steinbach finishes the year with a 10-6-3 record.

Tyler is the daughter of Roy and Cathy Steinbach and is in the pre-med program at CTX.
