Freshman Chris Randle of the men's track & field team is the Taco Bell Athlete of the Week for the third time this season for his performance in the high jump at the Trinity Alumni Classic on Friday, April 1.

Randle became Concordia's first student-athlete - male or female - to provisionally qualify for the NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships by clearing 6-feet, 9.75-inches in his premier event. The mark currently ranks tied for second in the nation behind Rust's Demeatrick Clayton, who has cleared 6-10.75 this spring. Randle's collegiate-best leap is an American Southwest Conference best by more than seven inches.

A native of Temple, Randle is the son of Crystal Randle. He has three brothers, Arron (26), Tony (20) and Adrian (19).
