BROWNWOOD, Texas – The Concordia Texas men's tennis team won for the seventh time in their last eight matches, blanking Howard Payne 9-0 on Saturday.
With the win, the Tornados tie the program's record for most wins in a season with eight.
Concordia Texas would dominate from the start, winning all three double matches, including an 8-1 decision at both line one and two.
In the singles matches, the Tornados would cruise to straight set wins in all six contests.
Esteban Arredondo would handle business at line one with a 6-3, 6-3 victory.

Ethan Espiritu and
Noah Villarreal would each only drop one game in their matches, as they all rolled to straight set wins.
Corbin Hayes finished off the shutout of the Yellow Jackets with a 6-0, 6-0 score at line five as CTX won their second straight conference match of the season.
Next, the Tornados will step outside of conference play when they will take on Texas Lutheran on April 4 in Seguin, Texas at 3:30 p.m.
