DALLAS – The Concordia Texas women's tennis team faced East Texas Baptist in the quarterfinals of the American Southwest Conference Tournament on Thursday, falling 5-0 at the SMU Indoor Courts.

In doubles, the Tornados fell behind early 3-0 as the Tigers swept the matches. At line two, Alexis Popovich and Kaitlin Stevens would go toe-to-toe with Ashley Schenck and Tiffany Stankiewics, but came up short 8-5.

In singles, ETBU would grab wins at line one and three to secure the team match victory 5-0 and move on to the semifinals of the tournament.

Concordia Texas' season comes to an end in the ASC Tournament for the third straight season, finishing 7-8 on the year.
