HOUSTON, Texas - The Concordia Texas men's tennis team earned their second sweep in only their third match of the season. The Tornados blanked St. Thomas 9-0 at Houston Memorial Park on Saturday.

Joeri Bregman and Chase Scholz dominated on line three with an 8-0 win. Adrian Munguia and Joshua Bode tallied an 8-4 win, and the team of Esteban Arredondo / Kishan Kersten had the match of the day with an 8-7 victory.

Munguia posted a quick 6-0, 6-0 victory on line three, while Kersten (6-0, 6-1) and Diego Cromeens (6-2, 6-0) both had a straight-set win in singles play. Daniel Beckles had an identical 6-1, 6-1 triumph, while Bode was victorius by a score of 6-1, 6-3 on line one. Securing the sweep was Scholz with a 6-2, 7-6 win on court two.

Concordia Texas will now return home to host Schreiner University next Friday, February 23rd at 4pm.
