Men's Tennis Blanks the Ozarks in SCAC Quarterfinals

The Tornados will compete in their sixth straight SCAC semifinal match.

WACO, Texas – Fourth-seeded Concordia (Texas) advanced to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Championship semifinals with a 4-0 victory over University of the Ozarks in quarterfinal action on Friday afternoon. Official Website l Postmatch Interview | Photo Album

Concordia (Texas) won took the doubles point after recording victories at first and second doubles by 6-3 and 6-2 scores.  

The Tornados' Adrian Munguia earned a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles. Teammate Steven Scholz followed with a 6-3,-6-2 before Daniel Beckles clinched the match victory with a 6-2, 7-5 win at third singles. 

Concordia (Texas) improved to 10-7 on the season while University of the Ozarks ends its at 7-8.
