GEORGETOWN, Texas - The Concordia Texas men's tennis team was bested 4-1 in a matchup against 15th-ranked WASHU.
Steven Scholz earned a pair of wins to highlight the day for the Tornados on Friday.
Scholz and
Jake Riggs won by a score of 6-4 on line three doubles, but WASHU claimed the doubles point.with victories on the first two flights.
Scholz continued his winning ways into singles action with a convincing 6-1, 6-4 triumph.
Aaron Griffin was engaged in an intense battle on flight three, but the match would go unfinished as the Bears clinched the fourth win.
Concordia Texas will next resume conference play this Sunday, March 15th when they host Colorado College. First serve is scheduled for 10am.
