AUSTIN, Texas - The Concordia Texas men' tennis team delivered a dominant performance on Saturday, sweeping the University of Dallas 7-0 at River Place Country Club. The victory marks the Tornados' third shutout in conference play this season.

Concordia set the tone early by sweeping all three doubles matches to secure the opening point. The duo of Daniel Beckles and Rowan Daniell earned a 6-1 win at No. 1 doubles, while Aaron Griffin and Kade Talbot followed with a 6-3 victory at No. 2. At No. 3, Jake Riggs and Steven Scholz completed the doubles sweep with a 6-0 win.

The Tornados carried that momentum into singles play, where they controlled every court. Steven Scholz led the way at No. 1 singles with a 6-0, 6-1 victory, while Daniel Beckles secured a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 2.

At No. 3, Aaron Griffin posted a 6-4, 6-1 win, and Kade Talbot followed with a dominant 6-1, 6-0 performance at No. 4. Rowan Daniell added a 6-3, 6-4 victory at No. 5, while Jack Rectenwald capped off the sweep with a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 6.

Concordia Texas will next travel to Houston to take on St. Thomas next Friday, March 27th. First serve is scheduled for 2pm.
