The Tornados came out motivated as the two teams ended the regular season with the Warriors emerging victorious just a week earlier, 4-0.

Concordia would strike first, winning the double point and taking a 1-0 lead into singles. After Hendrix took the top doubles line as Wesley McClure and James Thompson earned a 6-1 victory, however the Tornados stormed back to win at line two and three to capture the point. Chase Scholz and Jake Riggs won 6-3 at No. 3 before Aaron Griffin and Kade Talbot locked up doubles with a 6-3 win a No. 2.

Hendrix got the first single point as Thompson cruised to a 6-2, 6-1 win at the No. 2 line. The Tornados took a 2-1 edge behind a 6-4, 6-4 win from Scholz on the top singles line.

Concordia pulled to within one point of victory after Rowan Daniell won at No. 5, 6-4, 6-2, but once again the Warriors pushed back pulling back to 3-2 with a win at No. 6 courtesy of Matias Ancieta, 6-4, 6-2.

With all eyes on the final two matches, Talbot pushed Concordia into the Championship Match after closing out at the No. 4 line, 6-1, 7-6 (7-5). Talbot found himself down 5-2 in the second set before roaring back for the win.

Concordia improves to 10-8, while Hendrix falls to 13-6 on the season.
