Brittany Zamora

Brittany Zamora enters her first season as a graduate assistant women’s basketball coach at Concordia University Texas. She will be responsible for assisting head coach Rusty Rainbolt with all aspects of the program and have an emphasis on coaching the guards.

Zamora earned two letters at Howard Payne and Mary Hardin-Baylor between 2008-11 and garnered American Southwest Conference postseason recognition all four years, which included making the All-ASC West Division First Team in 2009-10 and the All-ASC West Division Second Team this past winter. She finished her collegiate career with 1,107 points, 258 assists and 165 steals. Off the court, the all-conference point guard has spent the past six summers as an AAU coach with the Austin Lady Magic for girls in fourth through 12th grade.

A native of Cedar Park, Texas, Zamora also enjoyed a decorated scholastic career at Vista Ridge High School. She was an all-district basketball player all four years and also lettered in volleyball and softball.

Zamora earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise and sports science from Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2012. She is currently pursuing her master’s of education with a teaching certification at Concordia and resides in Cedar Park.
