High School:
Four-year letterwinner as a sprinter at Klein Forest … Team captain for three years … Ran on the winning 4z100-meter relay and the 4x200 relay team that placed in the runner-up position at regionals in 2011 … Was also a member of the same relay teams that placed third at the state meet … Recorded personal-best times of 10.9 seconds in the 100-meter dash, 22.3 seconds in the 200 and 51.2 in the 400 … Also had personal-best marks of41 feet in the triple jump and 20 feet in the long jump … Also played football as a wide receiver and defensive back for four years … Two-year captain who helped the team post a winning campaign every season and a combined 26-14 ledger during tenure … Honor roll student … Member of the National Honor Society and was part of a reading program at local elementary school.
