Made the American Southwest Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll and was named the team’s Distinguished Scholar-Athlete of the Year at the 2012 CTX Athletics Banquet … Posted a season-best time of 23.58 seconds in the 200-meter dash at the Texas Southern Relays (3/17) … Led off the runner-up 4x100-meter relay that set a school record of 43.00 at the time at the Trinity Tiger Relays (3/30) … Ran a collegiate-best time of 50.20 in the 400 and was a member of the 4x100-meter relay squad that broke the program standard by circling the track in 42.51 at the Texas State Invitational (4/7) … Placed third in the 400 (50.60) and led off the 4x100- and 4x400-meter relay teams that ran school-record times of 42.51 and 3:20.24 at the American Southwest Conference Championships (4/28).

2011:
Made Tornado debut at the Incarnate Word Invitational (3/5), clocking in times of 22.90 seconds in the 200-meter dash and 53.10 in the 400 … Ran on the 4x200-meter relay team that set a school record with a mark of 1:30.66 at the Texas Southern Relays … Established a school record at the time in the 100, hitting the tape in 11.05, and clocked in a season-best time of 22.77 in the 200 at the Trinity Alumni Classic (4/1) … Anchored the record-breaking 4x100-meter relay squad that finished in the runner-up position at the Trinity Tiger Relays (4/8) and matched own program standard at the time in the 100-meter dash with a fourth-place mark of 11.05 … Also posted a season-best mark of 22.74 in the 200 to place fifth in the event.

2010 (at Western Texas):
Lettered in track & field for one season as a sprinter … Qualified for the NJCAA national meet in the 400-meter dash and 4x400-meter relay … Served as Student Government Vice President.

High School:
Four-year letterwinner as a sprinter at Sherman … Team captain … Personal-best times were 22.3 seconds in the 200, 49.9 in the 400, 2:10 in the 800 and 42.2 and 3:20, respectively, as a member of the school’s 4x100- and 4x400-meter relay squads … 4x400-meter relay was district champions and placed third at regionals during senior year … Was a state qualifier in the 4x200 as a freshman … Also ran cross country for three years and played soccer as a forward for two seasons.
