Freshman (2008): Held the top running spot for Concordia in her freshman season … Began her collegiate running career with a 35th overall finish at the UTSA Ricardo Romo Invitational in San Antonio with a time of 22:10 and finished 8th among NCAA Division III athletes … Took a first place finish for the women’s team and 14th place overall at Southwestern University’s annual cross country meet posting a time of 25:46 … Placed fifth overall out of 81 runners with a season best time of 25:03 on the 6k course at the American Southwest Conference Cross Country Championships at Texas Lutheran University … Earned 1st team all conference honors … Broke five-year old school record previously held by Sarah Bates with her performance at the conference championship meet … Finished 88th overall at the NCAA Division III South/Southeast Region Championships crossing the line in 26:10.
