Tim Stallard was named as the new head coach of its men's and women's tennis program in August 2025. Stallard took the helm with more than three decades of leadership in coaching, tennis operations, and event production at the collegiate, professional, and community levels. 

A Texas native, Stallard began as an assistant coach for the University of Texas women's tennis team before serving as director of tennis at Barton Creek Resort & Spa. He later founded ProLink Sports & Entertainment, co-founded InsideOut Sports & Entertainment with tennis legend Jim Courier, and led Lakecliff Racquet Club.

Most recently, he served as executive director of The Bush Tennis Center in Midland, where he expanded youth outreach and hosted major tournaments, including the US Davis Cup, Billie Jean King Cup, and Pat Green Best of the West Challenge — blending elite competition with philanthropic impact.  

Stallard has over forty years of experience in coaching and sports management. His professional accomplishments include serving as an assistant coach for the University of Texas at Austin, where he helped coach the Longhorns to two conference championships and the NCAA Final Four. Tim has developed 11 Texas high school state singles champions, seven NCAA All-Americans and four USTA national champions. His students have earned scholarships to top NCAA Division I schools, including the University of Texas at Austin, Stanford, UCLA, TCU, SMU, Baylor, the University of Georgia, Virginia and Texas A&M.

From 1990-1996, Tim served as Director of Tennis at Barton Creek Resort & Spa, where his students included three future superstars: Andy Roddick (2003 US Open champion and world No. 1), Drew Brees (Super Bowl XLIV MVP) and Chris Mihm (center for the LA Lakers). Tim has served as tournament director for more than 50 ATP Tour Challengers and currently serves as the tournament director of the ATP-TCU Fort Worth Challenger. Tim founded the RACFIT Foundation and serves as executive director.

Known for his player-centered approach, Stallard is committed to building a culture of excellence. He emphasizes developing athletes who excel competitively while also thriving academically and contributing positively to their communities.
