Clint Mokry was named the head coach of the Concordia University Texas baseball program on Dec. 2, 2022, following 12 seasons as an assistant coach for the Tornados. During his time as an assistant, Mokry was primarily responsible for overseeing the training and development of the pitching staff while also assisting with recruiting, fundraising, summer camps and other day-to-day operations.

Since taking over the program, Mokry has continued Concordia's tradition of postseason success, leading the Tornados to three consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, two conference tournament championships and back-to-back NCAA Regional Final appearances.

In his fourth season at the helm in 2026, Mokry guided the Tornados to another historic campaign as Concordia captured its first Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Tournament Championship and advanced to the NCAA Regional Final for the second consecutive season.

The Tornados went a perfect 4-0 in the SCAC Tournament, scoring 44 runs en route to the program's sixth conference tournament championship overall. CTX defeated LeTourneau, 10-5, in the title game to earn the SCAC's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Concordia continued its postseason run at the NCAA Marshall Regional. After falling to host East Texas Baptist in the opener, the Tornados responded with elimination-game victories over Belhaven and Rhodes to advance to the regional championship for the second straight year. The Tornados finished the season with their second consecutive 30-win campaign and third straight NCAA Tournament appearance.

Seven Tornados earned All-SCAC recognition, highlighted by Landon Hyle on the First Team. Hyle and Kalen Clark also received ABCA/Rawlings All-Region honors, with Clark earning Second Team recognition and Hyle being named to the Third Team. Mokry also earned his 100th career victory during the 2026 campaign.

In his third season in 2025, Mokry and the Tornados won a program-best 24 conference games to earn the No. 2 seed in their first season as members of the SCAC. Concordia advanced to the SCAC Championship Series and earned an at-large bid to make its second consecutive NCAA Regional appearance.

The Tornados continued their postseason run by advancing to the NCAA Regional Final. Twelve Tornados earned All-SCAC honors, while seven players  (Colby Christian, Otto Franz, Dakota Palmer, Aaron Gomez, Ralph Wallace III, Kalen Clark and Zach Seigrist) received All-Region recognition.

Pitcher Otto Franz highlighted the individual accolades after being named the SCAC Pitcher of the Year and Region 10 Pitcher of the Year. Franz capped his decorated season by earning All-America honors from both D3baseball.com and ABCA/Rawlings.

In just his second season as head coach in 2024, Mokry led the Tornados to the American Southwest Conference Tournament Championship and an automatic berth in the NCAA Division III Tournament.

The talented squad featured 10 All-ASC selections and several major individual award winners. Colby Christian was named ASC Newcomer of the Year, while Efren Sanchez Jr. earned ASC Sportsmanship Athlete of the Year honors. Chris Morrow was selected to the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-Region Team, and Zach Seigrist earned a spot on the ABCA Region 10 All-Defensive Team.

Prior to taking over as head coach, Mokry was a longtime member of the Concordia coaching staff and played an integral role in developing some of the top pitching staffs in program history.

Mokry was a member of the 2018 ASC Coaching Staff of the Year and helped the Tornados capture the 2018 ASC regular-season championship. The season was highlighted by D3baseball.com Honorable Mention All-American Justin Traxler, who tied the program's single-season record with eight saves while posting a 6-1 record and 3.00 ERA.

The Tornados made back-to-back NCAA Regional appearances in 2017 and 2018, marking the program's first consecutive regional appearances since 2011 and 2012.

Mokry was also a member of the 2012 ASC West Division Coaching Staff of the Year as the Tornados climbed as high as No. 4 nationally and finished with a then-school-record 37 victories during the program's NCAA Division III era.

Under Mokry's guidance, the CTX pitching staff established NCAA Division III-era program records for ERA (2.71), fewest runs allowed (150), saves (15) and shutouts (7). Ryan Ullmann was one of three Tornado pitchers to earn D3baseball.com All-West Region recognition, while Ullmann, Tyler Grygar, Scott Hays and Jacob Spelbring earned All-ASC West Division First Team honors.

In 2011, Mokry helped oversee one of the biggest turnarounds in program history. Led by ASC West Division Pitcher of the Year Colin Butschek, four Tornado pitchers earned ASC postseason honors. Concordia won 32 games, more than doubling its win total from the previous season, earned a share of the ASC West Division title, captured the ASC Tournament Championship and won two games at the NCAA West Regional.

Mokry has also worked with Austin Slam Baseball since 2005. Through the nonprofit organization, which trains and develops players to advance to the next level of the sport, he has coached the Slam Senators during the summer while assisting with daily front-office operations.

Prior to coaching, Mokry was a four-year letter winner as a pitcher at TCU from 2001-04. He was also a standout at Taylor High School, leading the program to the Texas UIL Class 3A Regional Finals while earning all-state honors in 1999 and 2000.

Mokry was selected by the Kansas City Royals in the 2000 MLB Draft following his high school career. He later graduated from TCU with a bachelor's degree in communications and a minor in criminal justice.

A native of Taylor, Texas, Mokry resides in Taylor with his wife, Haley, and their two children.
