Concordia Texas Athletics

Kaden Hughes is a dedicated figure in women’s flag football in Texas. He serves as the Assistant Coach for the women’s flag football team at Concordia University Texas in Austin, working alongside his father, Head Coach Keenan Hughes. Together, they have been instrumental in launching the state’s first collegiate women’s flag football program.

Prior to his role at Concordia, Kaden serves as the Junior Director and 13u Red Coach for Texas Fury, an all-girls select flag football organization. 

In addition to his coaching roles, Kaden was selected as the head coach for the USA Football 14U Girls’ Select Team, leading them in the 2024 Select Bowl in Los Angeles.

His dedication and contributions have significantly advanced opportunities for female athletes in flag football, both in Texas and nationally.
