After starting the week by registering her fourth double-double of the season with 17 points and 12 rebounds in a 60-51 setback against Mary Hardin-Baylor on Jan. 3, Singleton averaged 21.0 points on 60.9 percent shooting and 8.5 rebounds in Tornado wins over Texas-Dallas, 66-61, on Jan. 6 and Ozarks, 84-65, two days later. The junior center came up big down the stretch, averaging 15.5 points and 7.0 boards in the second half of each victory.

Singleton contributed 28 points and nine rebounds, including 19 points and six boards in the second half, to propel the Tornados to the upset victory over Texas-Dallas. With her team trailing 56-54 with five minutes left in regulation of the seesaw game that featured eight ties and six lead changes, Singleton scored seven straight points to give the Tornados a 61-56 advantage and the lead for good. She ended the week by accumulating 14 points, eight rebounds and three steals in the Ozarks win. All three marks were compiled in the second half.

Singleton, who is averaging 16.5 points and 8.9 rebounds this season, is the daughter of Tommy Singleton and Cotina Jones. She has one brother, Tommy (19) and two younger sisters, De'Angela (18) and Tiera (8).
