SHERMAN, Texas -- The Concordia University Texas volleyball team dropped the first match of the Austin College Invitational Friday evening as No. 12 Southwestern University swept the Tornados (7-16, 6-10 ASC) by the scores of 25-17, 25-22, and 25-10.

CTX will play two more matches on Saturday, Oct. 24 at the tournament before returning home.  The Tornados will play the host, Austin College, at 12:00 p.m., before closing out the tournament with the University of Dallas at 2 p.m.
